B-160 Portable Rechargeable UV Lantern

Low price and high performance. The economical B-160 long wave UV lamp is precision engineered to give you super performance for many years. Its 6-watt, integrally filtered tube emits a typical peak 365nm intensity of 800 µW/cm² at 6 inches (15cm).

No need to worry about power outlets. This portable, battery-operated lamp has a number of built-in features which allow you to use it anywhere, including a 6-volt rechargeable battery, an AC charger and a charging cord. The lamp has a comfortable, contoured carrying handle that provides easy reach to the power buttons. It's built to take tough use with a durable, high-impact plastic housing and stainless-steel tube guard that protects against accidental breakage.

Versatile, multi-purpose lamp. The durable B-160 is ideal for countless applications, including non-destructive testing, laboratory and medical diagnosis, mineralogy, readmission control, rodent contamination detection, UV curing, security control and much more.

Long-lasting battery power. The B-160 is powered with one rechargeable 6-volt, lead-acid battery that provides up to seven hours of continuous operation. The battery is rated for 200 to 1000 charge/discharge cycles depending on the depth of discharge. Green and red LED indicator lights, which show when the tube is on or when the charger is operating, help prevent inadvertent battery drain. The battery is designed to last 4 to 5 years under normal conditions. Recharging is simple with the B-160! Just plug the charging cord into an AC outlet and let it charge for approximately 24 hours. It's that easy!
